How it works

You bring it: Mark something you want to talk about. There is no ranked list of what is happening and nothing deciding what matters today.
One, or four: Choose a single correspondent or a table of four. Everyone is in a different country. Neither of you browses or chooses the other.
Write, then read: Nobody sees another answer until their own is filed. Then everything opens at once. There is no room to play to.
Then replies: At a table of four, each person answers one other. Nobody gets piled on, and nobody is left talking to no one.
Translation: If you don’t share a language, each message arrives in yours with the original underneath. Write in whichever you like.

What it doesn’t have

No feed, nothing to scroll, no ranking of what is happening
No profiles to browse and no one to search for
No likes, followers, streaks or counts of any kind
No advertising, now or later — it is written into the company’s charter
No bulk signups, no public API, and one account each

WHO IS ON THE OTHER SIDE One account each, and an account here cannot be created in bulk, by anyone, at any scale. That is the whole reason there is a price on this — not a trial that turns into a subscription, and not a number that quietly rises once enough people are inside.

What we do with your message

WHAT IS ACTUALLY BEING TESTED Whether roughly two hundred people will pay real money to write to a stranger about something that happened. If they won’t, this doesn’t get built, and everyone who wrote in is told so and charged nothing, because nothing was ever taken. That is a fairer trade than a free trial that quietly becomes a subscription.
